Resorts World – Festive Hotel

Had one day stayover at Festive Hotel. Would say the design of the rooms were not too bad but somehow the workmanship like the bathroom tiles seemed slightly poor. Or probably they were in a rush to launch their opening that the workmanship weren’t up to expectation? Just same random thoughts. One of the corner of the wardrobe was dirty as well, wonder why the cleaner doesn’t cleaned that portion when it was obviously so dirty. Receptionist at the hotel was not too bad. I can feel that the receptionists were really vexed up when it was their peak period. Or probably we were singaporean so we weren’t treated as nicely as the rest? It shouldn’t be this way huh…

And yes, I have taken out my braces!!! It was an abrupt decision as the dentist was looking at my teeth and was thinking OK, I can take out today. Everything needs to be done has already been done, further adjusting would be not so nice. So alright, I was so happy to take it out of course! No more ulcers, no more food stuck in the braces and using my tongue to dig them out. Eeeww, sounds gross i know. =X

But I wasn’t used to my teeth without braces initially. When it comes to brushing, I feel so bare to brush my empty teeh, and the smile on me looks different making me look like another person. Its about giving myself time to get use to my “new look”. Haha, but still its a happy thing that after 2 years plus, my teeth have become perfect. Woohoo!

Wanted to watch the crane show at 9pm but due to unforeseen circumstances, the crane show was not shown on that day. Awwww, we will be back to watch it! So we stumbled on this lake of dreams whereby everyone was sitting there on the stairs waiting for the performance to start. Nah, its not really that nice as its about the effects played by water and laser.

What a short weekend I must say.

Value Hotel Thomson

Spent our weekend at Value Hotel Thomson as Mr Guin wanted to do some “slacking”.

Lucky the hotel was new, cos the room wasn’t that spacious and imagine if its old and squeezy, gosh! Gotta be terrible. Its the smallest toilet i ever seen and the smallest room i ever been to, those hotels i stayed in turkey also not so small. HAHA.

Small puny toilet, but glad that its clean and new! =D

Nice swimming pool it has! It has the smallest gym as well, just two equipments only. HAHA.

Was bored, so decided to take some photos while Mr Guin was eating his lunch. =P

A slack and sleepy long weekend we had.. haha.

I was flipping thru my diary and looking through the number of holidays next year, its gonna be a pathetic year with not much long weekends for us. Boo hoo, gotta cherish all the long weekends we had this year. TEEHEE..
