1 day trip to Batam

An impromptu trip to Batam. Didnt book any room to stay as it was only a day trip but chanced upon this newly open Harris Hotel situated just beside Batam Center Ferry Terminal. Just opened on 5th November and we decided to take a look at it. Lotsa of people were queuing up to check in. Its quite similar  to Harris Resort at Waterfront Bay which I had tried before just that this is newer and more of a hotel with some rooms having sea view, definitely worth the try I feel. =D

No plans were made for this trip so we were slacking away at the lobby wondering what to do while Mr Guin’s handphone kept ringing away. Decided to go for spa after some googling and managed to book an appointment with Eska Spa which is near Nagoya Hill Shopping Centre. It was not a very good experience as I think that among all spas i went to, this is the 2nd worst one that I had experienced. Probably its because of the package I chose and I didnt really like rooms that are covered up by curtains, soooo unsafe~! Preferred spa rooms instead, more priviledged and comfortable. While doing the massage could hear people’s foot shuffling around and the curtain moving up and down as if someone is gonna peep into what Im doing,DISLIKE! ha.Tried Package 2: Stressless bodymassage, body scrub and body masque and I must say its not STRESSLESS at all. The lady used soooo much strength on me that after I while i actually asked her to massage lighter and i had a headache when the massage ended. Instead of feeling relax, felt so stressed instead. Not too sure if its because of the package I chose but my friend actually recommended me to try the cold stone massage. But well, may not go there again if there is better option for me. Its a all in one spa and wellness place as there’s manicure and salon as well.

Would hope to try Isabella spa if given the chance. Hur hur, the Eska spa massage is pretty scary!!! haha. And service was ok only. =X

First time going to Megal Mall at Batam Center and there isn’t much things to shop as compared to Nagoya Hill Shopping Center. Would prefer Nagoya hill instead. Didn’t really shop much thought ‘cos am on a tight budget. =X
