Bangkok Trip 2012
The last time we went together to Bangkok was in 2009. We are back 2 years later again!
A more familiar and experienced us back to this place. Its my 1st time that i went back to the country a 2nd time. Have to admit that things are still the same and its definitely more familiar when we go back the 2nd time. Just that the traffic is still as congested as ever, rather terrible.
Reached Bangkok and the first thing we had was to eat A&W. Seemed like lotsa people love A&W just that its no longer found in Singapore. Im not an ardent fan of A&W though. =P
Went Pantip Plaza and found this fan. Decided to purchase it to prepare us for Chatuchak the next day.
Weather was pretty hot and scorching as usual and streaming through the stalls in Chatuchak is like walking in a maze.But still I love shopping there and uncover gems.
Centrepoint Petchburi Residence & Hotel at Pratunum. Checked into this hotel as our friends previously stayed here before and find that the hotel location is good. Room is not that bad either but i reckon it to be rather old and bed is rather hard. Ask me if i would stay here again, i may consider though. Dun mind trying other hotels in Bangkok. Plenty of them!
Its pretty big and what i love is that it has connecting rooms so definitely much convenient for us.
Went Terminal 21 the much sought after place since its opening. Heard that its pretty big and lots of themes in the mall. Truely, it has lotsa themes for each level. Stuff there are pretty similar to Platinum mall.
Frankly, I don’t find the mall amazing since Singapore already have so many malls, the malls all look and feel the same to be. Saying that its big, i think vivocity is still much bigger than Terminal 21 though. What is unique is probably the theme that this mall has. And the washrooms, they had different themes as well. Which could be pretty amazing as though you had entered to a different world’s washroom. Haha. =X

Happy V Day once again!
Saw two box of roses delivered to my office today during lunch. signed for one colleague of mine. Asked her where her husband bought the flowers from be
cos seemed like many guys order from there as the delivery man carried two box of flowers.
Came home at night and door bell rang. No one wanted to open the door as it was rather late. Uncle kept knocking and pressing the bell and so my sister decided to open. Surprise! Mr Guin had made flower delivery for me for Vday! Hehehe

Vday Celebration @ The Equinox Swissotel
Had an early Vday surprise dinner from Mr Guin. He’s having reservist next week so he won’t be able to celebrate on the actual day with me. Didn’t exactly know where we are heading to initially cos he wanna surprise me! One of the many places that I wanted to dine in.. finally dream come true! 
Headed to Bugis 3D art and had some photos taken with the fabulous art done! Really amazing and stunning!
Visited Singapore Street exhibition at NLB as well. Got to know why some streets are named that way and unique street names like happy ave! haha never heard of this street before though!
Enjoy eating with Mr Guin cos he never fails to impress me with his knowledge on food, how the cutleries should be used and what ingredients are added. For a cooking idiot like me, I know nuts about all these. Haha
Had our appetizer followed by main course. No dessert was ordered despite the small portion it’s still quite filling.
A breathtaking and fabulous view we had! Accompanied by the nice food, it’s absolutely gorgeous. Just a pity that the music is not to my liking, Mr Guin said its lounge music but somehow I dun fancy lounge music with the ambience. haha

Movies
Descendents. Felt that it was kinda boring and the show has this “old” film feel. Story line was simple. Its about their mother’s death and how death changes people and how people react to death. This show won the academy awards and was thinking it should be a nice show to watch, but, not really my cup of tea. =X
Give it 3/5.
Underworld awakening. Forgot about the first part so im not too sure if the two shows are linked. Ending was abrupt and disappointing, there would most probably be part 3 coming up. Not much of a story in the show, just more killings of lycans and vampires.

The Dragon Year 2012
My favourite festival amongst all but somehow this year the feeling is quite different from past years. No idea why but probably ‘cos my grandfather pass away last year so visiting my dad’s side relatives seemed rather boring. Oops.
But well, its still a different cny for me as i get to lou hei 5 times this year and also didnt really specially get any cny clothes for myself. Its also the year which i bought lots of toto just to win the huge ang bao…=P
May dragon year be a prosperous and enjoyable year for everyone! Huaaatt ah~!
